Panini logoWell let it not be said that I am not a man about town. My son Mikee and I were invited to have lunch at a restaurant in West Hollywood called Panini on Sunset. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Anita, she owns the place and she acted like she really wanted to feed us and was nice to both of us. Imagine, walking into a place that wants to be nice to you (Vitellos should pay attention here)!

There were several of us for lunch and everyone’s food was great. The pasta was excellent with a red sauce with a nice hint of garlic. We had two pizzas and a Greek Salad that could have been a meal in itself, plus fresh garlic bread. The garlic bread was just the way I like it, moist and hot with a nice crisp crust. My son had a pesto chicken sandwich that arrived hot and the bread was soft and crunchy, and the taste! All of the dishes looked like someone paid attention to detail. The plates were clean and shiny and full of food. Everyone had food to go after stuffing ourselves. People, they are going to feed you here. Anita has like 20 pizzas on the menu and they are all made fresh to order. The place smelled like a pizzeria and the service was friendly and you felt welcome. I keep saying this because how many times do we walk into a place to grab a light meal and it is as if you have just interrupted someones nap. And the prices? I was pleasantly surprised for the amount and quality of the food the bill was less than $11 per person! And we had food that had to be bagged to take home with us.
