Today (11.5.07) I happened to walk into Commissioner James D. Endman’s courtroom and watched as Frances L. Diaz, Esquire was being very persistent that the other side (male of course) had hidden several assets and the court was not all that concerned! She was as aggressive as she could be just short of calling this Commish a moron! I was very impressed, you would have thought that she was fighting a death penalty case. I spoke to her for a few minutes and she told me that she had not been paid on this case for more than two years! This is one dedicated lady!
OK, here is a bulletin: most attorneys would not do that much work unless they had a fish on the line for their fees! Not this lawyer, and I cannot recall being more impressed with her passion! The other side was smug and grinning — hell this judge was fighting their battle! Ms. Diaz’s office is in Beverly Hills not too far from mine, and again what a show! She has to be a fan of John Paul Jones!
This lawyer would also be rated three stars, as what I witnessed was nothing short of incredible! She did share with me her frustration with the system and some commishes! Hmmm, what time does the retirement bus roll in?
The best is yet to comethe clerk in this court, Richard, was as miserable as they come. Rude beyond belief, he made me look reasonable on one of my bad days! I could not believe he would talk to Ms. Diaz like he did, pretty much told here that if she wanted a file she should go find it herself. Oh Richard, by the way, you need to see a tailor!
