Here is an update on the MISERABLE dining experience that we had at the Northern Hotel’s premier “10” restaurant. If someone on staff had the ability to count the correct designation should be “0”.
On December 14th, 2024 upon my return to Billings, Montana I took the time to call Jolayne Buffington, Boutique Manager as stated on her business card. She is also the “10” restaurant manager. As happen stance when I called the receptionist told me that she was walking by. Jolayne took my call and was as pleasant as she could be. I asked if she and management had seen my review on DESPERATEEXES.com and she said yes. I then asked about my refund for my MISERABLE Thanksgiving dinner buffet as well as the $35.00 tip. She responded that she would discuss with George, who I believe is the hotel manager, and I had spoken to him when I made the horrible error and asked for a reservation for myself and two grandsons. Another rather pleasant gentleman as I recall. Well here it is January 2nd, 2025 and these folks are I am assuming in need of every dollar and have not willing agreed to my refund for my charge and of that ridiculous tip to pay for their hotel help!
So I called American Express and have charged back on the Northern Hotel of Billings, Montana for what I originally asked for. Being more than fair to pay for what my two teenagers ate, as they appeared to be good with the very simple meal that we were all over charged for. Again, Wendy’s would have gotten the same thumbs up, Kids! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place, it is sad on so many levels, one is to simply suck it up and PAY YOUR OWN STAFF! Don’s wait for tips to do so!
