“Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” was one of my all time favorite movie, starred Steve Martin and Michael Caine. The movie came out in 1988, however, dirty rotten scoundrels’ have been around a long, long time before this movie. I am talking about DENTIST and VETERINARIANS. What do these two professions have in common? Dentist and Veterinarians make funeral directors look generous in their practices and how they will fleece you when you are at your worse.
Veterinarians main goal is simple, get the office visit charges, then at all costs suggest test on stuff they( these doctors already know what it is and how to treat it already ) of course they already know and do all of this to simply pump up the bill for their services . And come hell or high water, then to be dam sure you don’t leave with out buying highly over priced pills and or creams. And the more desperate you are to save your pet, Scoundrels with DVM after their name will put the pressure on you and keep it on till you crack. Veterinarian emergency services are generally $5,000.00 and up, if your pet is in need of life saving services and they will equally with pleasure put your pet down aka KILL YOUR PET! If you don’t have the “vig” to pay these greedy bastards…..they even have some staff whose sole purpose is to prep you for payment to set you up for the Big Gotcha!
Seriously, is their a more despicable bunch of carpet baggers than these?
And oh I have seen some of the best, “Al Plechner, veterinarian and published author with 50 years experience”…..was on Sepulveda and Santa Monica close to all the $$$$ neighborhoods on the Westside of Los Angeles. His expertise was selling pills and getting his patients hooked on their / his monthly supplies of purchasing pills, generally based on the soft pink bellies of puppies!
He would laugh when we would talk about things in general and the ignorance of some people. One time I asked him don’t all puppies have soft pink bellies? As a specialist in Immunology and endocrinology he laughed and asked me did you see my new Porsche? And he had a pretty nice silver convertible Porsche with red interior, he laughed and said those little white pills pay for that and more. Old Al had another specialty and that was hunting and he loved shooting coyotes that roamed onto his land. *** I also recall vividly he telling me that his wife’s bill at Barney’s was always $10,000.00 a month. ( Barneys New York was a very high end department store in Beverly Hills, it went bankrupt in 2019, it too like Al Plechner are now both gone forever ) I actually enjoyed Al and he was a great doctor but he was a better business man and had all the toys to prove it.
I have seen all of the swindles and scammers, there was another veterinarian in that group on Sepulveda aka The Gold Coast whose specialty was “heart issues” and that son of a bitch would always try and sell $5,000.00 treatments for you, that dam number is a very popular jumping off point for many of these scoundrels. *** I had an issue with one of my chihuahua’s many years ago and this bag of human waste with DVM after his name tried the $5,000.00 treatment scam on me. His nurse was offended at the hustle that she had seen dozens of times and gave me a piece of paper with a young doctor’s name on it, and I called him, enter Dr. Lesser!
Dr. Michael Lesser DVM looked over my dog and said all he needed was some corrective medication and sent me away, $150.00 vs $5,000.00, Dr. Lesser is a board certified canine cardiologist. Now some of you will say, ‘ well they are not all that way ‘, I say BULLSHIT, I have only met a few that were actually decent and enjoyed practicing medicine, Dr. Gary Adams, Los Angeles, Ca. and Dr. Paul Connor in Castaic, Ca. and a old timer here in Montana Dr. Charles Noland, DVM…..all of these doctors I mention here are old timers and I believe they do the best by you and your pet…..certainly not the norm! *** I understand getting in and completing a Veterinarian College is not easy and is not cheap…..like my comparing Veterinarian and Funeral Parlors, they just cannot help but to see and opportunity and clean up and fill the coffers…..that means to empty your wallet or max out a credit card…. THESE BASTARDS DO NOT CARE! *** I thought we would have left that all behind living in Montana, not at all, these doctors here and there are lots of em are even worse that the scum we left in Los Angeles.
Dentist now are a whole different form of low life scandalous fuckers, you go in for an exam and they want you to go see that Dental Hygienist first! Screw having clean teeth, if a real need exists other than trying to find work for the “ DOCTOR “ certainly it has a place in the big picture. However, THERE job is to find any and all possible issues to generate income for the dentist! I remember many many years ago I went to a Persian dentist in Beverly Hills, he found 8 cavities in my mouth! I was shocked and he wanted me back so he could begin filling my teeth and hopefully find a ‘root canal’. Root Canals are where the money is, screw filling a cavity, $300 to $400 vs thousands for the ‘root canal’. You do realize that fillings was what was done in the old days, but that was not enough for these scoundrels, ROOT CANALS are where the money is. And it for that reason, it is almost ALWAYS a ROOT CANAL! *** They can cost thousands of dollars and you are put through hell so this bastard can eat steak and lobster. Well I went to another dentist who I had some familiarity with and he found one possible cavity…..it gets better and this is why you cannot trust any dentist. This is a profession that you can never ever trust!
So I made a complaint to the Dental Board of California and in a month or two I got a response. The response was that the Persian bottom feeder, sodomizer S.O.B. with a dental license that wanted to fill 8 of my teeth? The Dental Board felt that it was his opinion and thus all good, so in other words, that S.O.B. in the eyes of the Board of Dentistry is a dam good doctor too! There is a reason that dentists are at a higher risk of suicide compared to the general population, with mortality rates twice as high! No shit, who is ever happy to go to a dentist, I get more joy out of a colonoscopy! At least you feel good with the calming drugs and it never hurts. Still in 2026 dentistry you know is going to hurt, never fails!
Subjective Diagnoses, dentist will look at X-rays and see symptoms differently. One might look at a spot and just monitor another wants to go after it aggressively and costly techniques..make that money. Some dentists have to meet quotas to base performance and revenue goals. How about this…NO OVERSIGHT, these bastards and whores are all on their own and no one can see what they do and how they do it….’step into my web little fly’ so states the spider! And of course there can be gaps in the knowledge of people being robbed by these scoundrels making it tough to differentiate between what is real and important and what is unneeded and all profit driven…please just remember as terrible as it may seem, YOU CANNOT EVER TRUST THESE SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS…EVER! And IF you have insurance, It can GET EVEN WORSE!
Now the big scam they have found is implants and doing entire mouths full of new teeth and or dentures that get set in like with implants to hold the plates in place…. and they are all experts! Once again the word is BULLSHIT! And they advertise like automobile dealers on the television day and night……they will even do financing for you with no care as to what all this will cost, as long as they get your money out of your pocket and into theirs. They could care less about what is good for you. Leaving you in a financial disaster is the least of their cares…..Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is what most of those in these two medical practices are! Just think of the last time you went to a dentist, how do you know what they are telling you is the truth? You don’t!
More proof, the industries that live off of these dirty rotten scoundrels give these huge conventions for all the dentists and veterinarians to attend, they come from all over the world to attend. And do you know what 89 percent of what is being sold? How to do more test, sell more meds for the veterinarians and for those F’n Tooth Yankers, how to do more procedures and make more money, BE PRODUCTIVE and GET RICH……very very little about the welfare of those of us who fall victim to these bastards in white coats! Bottom line is these people obviously worked hard to get through the schools and training and deserve to get paid and paid well…..no disagreement here. But the ruthlessness of the behavior that we get to witness and the methods to RIP us off as lovers of our pets and the need to protect our teeth is absolutely disgusting. To hell with dentists and veterinarians who do nothing but take advantage of the public at our most hurtful and vulnerable times.
