Warren R. Sacks, 61 years old, was shot and killed at his home on Encino Hills Dr. Encino, California. The shooting occurred on February 3, 2022; it was reported to have occurred around 1900 hrs. Warren was pronounced dead at his home. It has been reported that a 60-year-old male was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department at the scene of the shooting.
Our sources tell us that the 60-year-old who was arrested was a friend who had purchased a gun and was showing it to Warren when it discharged a round, killing Warren. Having carried a sidearm for much of my life and continue to do so, this is an event that is discussed at length in every safety course one might take. Handling a loaded firearm is as dangerous as it gets. As a retired law enforcement officer, I have heard of accidental discharges in locker rooms at police and sheriffs departments all over the United States.
Warren was a senior partner with White Zuckerman Warsavsky Luna Hunt LLP, aka WZWLH, for obvious reasons. Having had a relationship with WZWLH over the years, I met Warren years ago. One does not have to be a close friend or an acquaintance to understand the loss all must be feeling surrounding this terrible accident. Warren was born December 25, 1960, and spent his life in Southern California, graduating from California State University, Northridge. His area of expertise was finances involving DIVORCE, as is his firm.
All of us here at DESPERATEEXES.com send our condolences to Warrens family as well as to the WZWLH family.
