Incredible to think that ancient history is as relevant today as when Plato decided to chip a few words in stone.
What this country, the United States, and those in charge did to the Native Americans is likely as despicable and horrible as what Hitler did to the Jews, and in my opinion, could be even worse. The methods and techniques were different, but the goal was almost identical, the total removal, at all costs, of a particular group of people. What was done to the Tribes of America was not done by the hands of some renegade dictator or military leader, but by the hands of politicians, generals, and Presidents of the United States, all in total agreement. (Presidents Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren come to mind, just to name a couple)

Every attempt was made to make the Native Americans and all that they stood for disappear. Frankly, in comparison with what those in charge of America at the time did to the Native Americans, the holocaust, and the Nazis in charge, could have been considered humane. And as far as the black people in America, sure, the history is there; however, there is no comparison in the level of slaughter and brutality. Black America has nothing coming when compared to the attempted annihilation of the Native Americans.
The only word that comes to my mind when I hear of the poor black communities, and that terrorist organization Black Lives Matter, is that of a Black Comedy! Illegals being separated at the border from their children is hardly unusual; it was done during the Indian Removal Act.
Vicious, inhumane behavior towards a people who were here first and had a great and honorable culture. They had no problems until the white man showed up. It was all about expansion, Manifest Destiny, and that damn American Way.
We hear of the liberals in California at one of the beach communities wanting to give back beachfront property to a black family, property that was taken under a pretense of imminent domain. Manhattan Beachs Bruces Beach was taken, and now the Liberals, in an attempt to gain the favor of Black Voters, is giving it back to the relatives of the original owners. Note, not even sure if they were entitled to it, they got it all back. You just have to love liberals and democrats, the same democrats that historically loved slavery.
What about the millions of acres stolen and the outright murder of Native American men, women, and children who were sitting on it when they were slaughtered? There is not another group of people living in America today, in 2022, that have a legitimate bitch as to their status other than the Native Americans, and that is proven and documented for anyone who would take an interest in reading the history.
Unfortunately, we dont have Native Americans burning our cities, killing our law enforcement officers, and making a mess of our major cities. Nor do we see much of any Native Americans except occasionally for some ridiculous story that is acceptable to the news media and what America really wants to hear, STILL! Why is there not total outrage at the numbers of young people who are coming up missing off reservations across this country? Why does it seem to not matter? Its almost like we are back in the 1800s. Personally, I am baffled how people can go missing, and no one appears to give a damn. This is happening now, in 2022!
Heres a comparison. Kristallnacht, or the Night of Broken Glass, also called the November pogrom, on the night November 9-10, 1938. It was all an attempt to terrorize and loot, burn, and make mass arrests of Jews throughout Nazi Germany. Look at what the United States did to the Native Americans. Incredibly the entire holocaust and the slaughter of the Native Americans was so very, very similar. It is still going on today on the Rez. Girls, boys, adults are all going missing. Yes, I am repeating myself here, and it is all true. Not to mention Two-Spirit individuals have gone missing for an assortment of reasons.
Until this country addresses the mass murder and the theft of land from Native Americans, I dont give a damn about the poor blacks, and even less for the damn illegals who enter this country illegally. ZERO!!!!
The condition on reservations, Rancherias, or Pueblos, call it as you please, they are still areas of confinement of original ancestors of America. Many of these places still are very difficult to exist on, and again, all this difficulty is the fault of those who chose to try and exterminate an entire group of people. Of course, there are exceptions to life on the reservations; the problem is that they are still reservations. The primary reason was the expansion of railroads and the American Way of life. These people had traditions, and they lived within the confines of what was right for life and solid traditions.
Do your history reading. Trail of Tears is just as fresh today as it was in the 1800s. The only difference is the sophistication of the way it is all done in todays modern world. There are times that on the open plains in America, there is a sound that almost sounds like lost souls still seeking justice for the atrocities committed at the hands of the American Government.
