Kelly Clarkson’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, Esq., has knocked the wind out of the custody plans of her husband Brandon Blackstock and his two lawyers. Blackstock is represented by Lisa Helfend Meyer, Esq., and Samantha F. Spector, Esq., affectionately looking like “The Lollipop Guild” lately.
It would appear that Wasser is four steps ahead of Captain “where am I” and her ever-present “are we there yet” co-counsel, or is it the other way around? Brandon Blackstock’s two DIVORCE lawyers Meyer’s and Spector.
It really does seem that at this point, he would be better off to go pro-per. ( you would get the same result and get to keep your money ) I am guessing the clock is ticking before Blackstock takes my advice and seeks new counsel. This is S. California, and no judge is going to send the kids to Montana with dad! Monte Carlo? Maybe, Montana is not happening.
Primary Custody for Blackstock went out the window along with that $5,000,000.00 “wish upon a star” payday Meyers and Spector were hoping for from Dr. Dre. Another very high dollar fiasco. It just seems great results are tough to come by these days. On the other hand, as long as these cash cows pay those huge legal fee invoices, screw them!
The judge has decided that the two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, will stay with mom here in Los Angeles. Next time you go to court, Mr. Blackstock, you may want to watch Wizard of Oz and pay attention to “pulling the curtain.”
