Well, January 1, 2016 will be the last New Years for two Southern California divorce lawyers, we are sad to report. Brian Kent Brandymeyer died at his home surrounded by his family on January 1, 2016. He was 78 years old.
Ian Lapin, died on January 4, 2016. He was 76 years old. Specifics on his death are not available. I was told by someone who knew both men well that they were wonderful to work with and you could trust what they said and did. This is certainly a rarity for DIVORCE lawyers.
As they say in the movies, this stuff comes in threes, and we all know several oldies but goodies we are all watching. For a few if not for their incredible wealth, they likely would be getting their mail delivered by gophers. Rest in peace Brian and Ian, you did a great job with your families and in your chosen professions.
