Straight Talk with John J Nazarian has been revamped and now will come to Monday – Friday beginning today, November 1, 2011 at 7 PM PST, 8 PM MST, 9 PM CST and 10 PM EST for 30 minutes a day and the Sunday one hour show will change to the same time slot of 7 PM PST – 10 PM EST.

Now instead of trying to juggle and remember what time that day Straight talk is on you need only remember one time for your timezone and then you are set to settle in and hear some of the best and some of the funniest regular guests that John will have on. However, never fear John will continue to have specials and those will now be announced in time for you to write down your own questions for John and his guests and get them in.

Buckle up, the coming series of shows will have you laughing; wondering about things and people, hearing the no holds bar attitude in John’s assessment of Hollywood shenanigans; but also in tears at some of the specials John will be having from now until the end of the year.

Robert A. Jakucs – Retired Homicide Detective of L.A.P.D
Robert A. Jakucs is a retired Los Angeles Police Department Detective with over 30-years of investigative experience. During his distinguished career with the L.A.P.D he worked such high-profile assignments as Homicide, Hollywood Vice, SWAT, Robberies, Burglaries, Complex Thefts, and gang-related shootings. He was a member of the Night Stalker Task Force that investigated the serial murderer Richard Ramirez. Robert Jakucs is also a consultant for national television specializing in private and police investigation issues and has appeared on the news shows Nightline, 20/20 and Inside Edition.

William “Bill” Cox a retired homicide detective at Los Angeles Police Department who retired in 2007 after 32 years
William Cox worked in a variety of assignments including uniformed patrol, CRASH (gang detail) in South-Central and West Los Angeles areas. He also worked homicides for over 20 years and finished his career in Robbery-Homicide Division (RHD) which handles major cases including serial killers, multiple murders, media and high-profile cases, officer-involved shootings, and assaults and murders on police officers. He also worked the Rampart Corruption Task Force for two years. William Cox was also involved or handled several high-profile cases over the years including the Kimes (mother-son grifters who were responsible for 3 murders in LA, NY, and the Bahamas); the Goetz of the West case; the murder of the pregnant mother at LAX; plus several others.

William Cox has appeared on Investigative Discovery channel, 48 Hours, and E-entertainment. He is currently employed by the US State Dept. as a background investigator.

William Cox’s last case he worked on at RHD was a Chinese immigrant student attending USC who had gone to a frat party and had attempted to pull a gun and start shooting students. He was wrestled to the ground by other students who then called police. After a search warrant was served on the suspect’s apartment Cox and three other detectives were sent to NY City to investigate and attempt to identify approximately 20 persons he had targeted to possibly kill. (This incident occurred shortly after the mass murders at West Virginia Tech.) Cox was also working on a murder where a husband set his car and wife on fire on the Golden State Frwy. Cox had also been working (for the past four years) on a double homicide that had occurred in 2002 wherein two victims were killed in their car and their car set on fire. That murder was the story that 48 Hours has done and shown on television in February 2011.

Dawna Kaufmann – Author/Investigative Journalist
Dawna Kaufmann is an accomplished true crime journalist. Her new book, “From Crime Scene to Courtroom: Examining the Mysteries Behind Famous Cases,” written with Dr. Cyril Wecht, blasts open the death probes involving Michael Jackson, Casey Anthony and five other criminal cases. Kaufmann has covered hundreds of high-profile homicide and missing person cases for national publications. She is also an award-winning producer and writer, with a multitude of credits in television, including late-night comedy programming and prime-time network variety series. Kaufmann will be a crossover guest also appearing alone covering all of the Celebrity Hollywood Gossip. Fifi Larue Gothic Killer Clown of Rock ‘N’ Roll
Fifi Larue TV personality and also known as Gothic Killer Clown of Rock ‘N’ Roll. Larue has been featured on Gene Simmons Family Jewels, America’s Got Talent, “The Next Great American Band.” Fifi Larue looks like a member of the band “KISS” when made up and ready to go on stage. John and Larue have a friendship that has spanned decades. They will unravel more Hollywood Secrets about famous bands, including Michael Jackson.

Daniel DiCriscio TV personality and Celebrity Image Consultant
TV personality and Celebrity Image Consultant Daniel DiCriscio whose clients have included Pamela Anderson, Marilyn Manson, Stevie Nicks and many others over the years in the land called Hollywood. John Nazarian & Daniel DiCriscio have exclusive insight into countless Hollywood stories including Anna Nicole Smith, “The Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and Paula Jones. Donna D’Ericco Celebrity Personality and 1995 Playboy Playmate
Donna D’Ericco is beautiful, educated, and funny; all a great combination for a perfect fit with John. Donna just completed filming on a documentary for the Discovery Network chronicling her training and preparations to climb Mount Ararat and search for Noah’s Ark, Donna is due to appear in an upcoming HBO film about 9/11 (filming starts in January), and she will be featured on the CBS television show “The Doctors” on November 21st. Since leaving Baywatch, Donna has appeared in numerous independent films as an ensemble cast member alongside actors such as Colm Feore, Jennifer Tilly, and Andie MacDowell. Donna is am planning her trip to Turkey next year to Climb Mount Ararat and search for Noah’s Ark. However, before beginning that search for the Ark, Donn will first be joining in the search for Donald MacKenzie, a Scotsman who disappeared on Mount Ararat in September, 2010 while searching for Noah’s Ark. MacKenzie has been missing ever since, and foul play is suspected. MacKensie’s family needs closure, so Donna is launching a major search for him next August. August and September are the only two months out of the year when Ararat can be climbed and searched on the north side, where Donald disappeared, and where Ark searchers focus their attention on as the most likely place where the Ark now rests. Donna is also developing a reality show of her cooking from her southern roots with he sister, Alabama style!

The latest potential train wrecks, Da Kardashians — Kim and her BIG sister Kourtney — were exiting a car when some poor photographer got very close, it is being reported. And Kim and BIG sis Kourtney’s security thugs took care of business. What does that mean? Just because the guy has a camera does not make him a “threat,“ as a matter of fact is it not these very same people who made these nobodies somebodies?

The members of our security details are off-duty police and sheriff deputies and above all gentlemen. You can still have “security” and not get sued or arrested, it is called having trained people in place and COMMON SENSE. During the Phil Spectre circus we saw his “security“ team and being that he was so rich it would appear that he had paid by the pound for the two cows in very large suits that accompanied him and his wife to and from the court. Hot day? folks can you imagine the odor factor and having these two grunts with you?? Hello! For Nazarian and Associates, we don’t hire people by how many pounds they weigh but for what they have between their ears: brains. It would also appear that hiring current or former street thugs is also not good for any potential jury verdict…sweeties you will have to pay. Also, insurance the last time I checked does not pay off on criminal acts. And assaulting and beating someone is a criminal act.

And how about this, you don’t want the attention, don’t leak your schedule to the paparazzi and chances are they won’t be there. Ahhhh, that would be too disappointing, no one to take your picture and document how surprised you look. OH NO, but then TMZ would not have you to make comments about on there site. There are dozens of ways to keep from being confronted by the photogs. A perfect example is when Adam Braun and I accompanied a client to be booked for the Anna Nicole debacle…there was no photo of her entering the police station, and no photo of her leaving. Also keep in mind that I planned the entire event and the best part NO MUG SHOT! We don’t want to be sued and we don’t want to attack the very people who make us famous, THE PAPARAZZI, these men and women provide a service. For sure there are times when you wish they were not parked in front of your house or apartment. How about this, send for coffee and sandwiches for them while they are camped out and maybe they will give you a break. We use other less pleasant tactics but they are harmless…who can predict a broken hose or sprinklers going off by accident?

When a real threat is in place, get out of the area quickly and use the appropriate force to do that. Having trained professionals will do the trick and you don’t get that for 50 bucks an hour. But if you hire meat to beat people and smack them around and break their cameras, you’ll PAY FOR IT in bail, lawyers and settlements.

“Baby Pimpin’“… who would have ever thought this would be something that we would be talking about? But in this day and age, no real surprise here folks, family values are hard to find in our own homes, and to have access to a “celebrity” infant is a real money maker. To the parents of these children it is a fast track to big dollars. Almost like putting the kid on a spinning wheel and seeing were it stops and how much that photo spot will pay.

Old Hollywood was all about glamour, great estates and wonderful cars. Today, you have these flash-in-the-pan losers grabbing the new born ASAP and getting to the “paps.” The days when moguls and stars would keep their children under wraps to prevent them from being exploited in the media seem a thing of the past, even as being potential targets of kidnappers, stalkers and even terrorists has gotten worse.

What makes these losers think that they are doing good for the welfare of the infant or the small child, keeping them in the media to make money from the gossip magazines? How easy would it be for an unstable person to try and hurt the child as it is being tucked under one’s arm in the search of someone to take a picture. We have all seen it, “Oh I am going shopping on Robertson Blvd,” knowing that there will be photogs waiting, or the little mommy or daddy time at the park, too bad you called and told the photogs you would be there. Phonies all of them! John Lennon’s family understands this real well, world leaders understand the risk. Not in Hollywood, it is still very much, “quick get the kid, I have bills to pay.” We have witnessed this too many times to deny it.

”Hollywood Gossip” reported that Kourtney Kardashian dragged her newborn to Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show, Baby Pimping. “How cute is baby Mason?!” Seacrest asked, happily playing the role of enabler to one of the stars of a series he produces. “Is baby ready to feed? He’s looking for your breast.” Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian accompanied their exploitative sister to the show, as Kourtney wrote on her blog: “I take Mason everywhere with me. We had to stop in and surprise Ryan!” The Kardashians, where did they come from? Paris Hilton had a name at least…”The Kardashians”?

“Hollywood Gossip” also took a slap at Birkhead, “Note to Larry Birkhead: the baby pimping bar has been raised to a new level. Will you meet it? To do so, Anna Nicole Smith’s baby daddy will need to bring his young child on to a radio show and then act as if he’s doing it just to see a pal.” It is my opinion that this “Baby Pimping” is going to continue as these wanna-be-famous types will use whatever they can to promote themselves and to to make a buck, after all it is the American way. The problem is that soon there is always someone more interesting and fascinating to the press and to those who read this trash. I am old enough to remember the Kennedys, Sinatra, Onassis and others who made it a point to keep their children out of the limelight…then again, they did not have to stand on their children’s backs to make a buck, those were the days of true Hollywood Glamour and Class.
