Having a little time on my hands, I hung out in Department 22, The Bench of Judge Michael Paul Linfield. There are two boxes of tissue on the “long table,” one at each end. One for the respondent and one for the petitioner…aka the former husband and wife…depending on who drops the hammer first!

Judge Linfield is not going to mince words, and on this day gave this fool enough rope to hang himself, and oh did he hang himself! It was the old “mommy is bad, and I am better,” and to save a buck, I need full custody…it would not happen today in this judge’s courtroom.  He spotted the liar, and in so many words called him just that! A LIAR! It is a little cold in this courtroom, and Judge Linfield adds to the chill! However, if you are feeling a chill it, could very well be your own fault!

I worked with Michael Linfield at the Governor’s Office in 1982, in the Pension Investment Unit. I just found out he is now a Superior Court Judge, and I was wondering if someone has his email address.

Mr Linfield is very bais towards fatehers when it comes to custody matters.I dont know how he can smell out a liar if it hit him in the face. This judge refueses to at both sides. He only looks at the mothers side which she has lied to the the judge and he belives her. which in this case it makes the father out to be this horrible person which he is not. I feel sorry for fathers that have to before this judge. He has a track recored of this same behavior towards Farthers.

Judge Linfield made several mistakes in my case. The judgement was totally wrong. He could not add straight. He ignored the law and refused to take responsibility. I went to the court of appeal and the entire judgement was reversed. I feel very sad for people who cannot afford to go to the appeal court. It is something that take time and money. This can drive a person to the edge…. it is very sad to see the justice system fail.
